I bought 2 nic cards which will arrive tomorrow. I plan on using CentOS 6.4 with Webmin and ( Config Server Firewall or CSF Firewall ). The computer I am using is a old dell xps i7-920 with 6gig ram The setup will be > Comcast modem(assigned a static ip) > Linux firewall box(with static ip or not, I don't know) > sonicwall tz210(assigned a static ip) > my LAN (with computers assigned static ip's) I am completely new to Linux and have network/install setting questions about this. Also to create a centos 6.4 firewall box in front of it for more security. I have decided to just keep that device still functioning with its rules and network settings in place. Since sonicwall was bought out by dell, they EOL my tz210 I will not be renewing my services through them again.
